The Grassmarket Hotel is in a Prime location and central to all tourist attractions, with lots of bars and restaurants within a minutes walk. Hotel staff were Lovely and very attentive, we we're greeted with a Huge Smile, our tripple room wash spacious, beds were super comfy, plenty tea/coffee etc and the Bathroom was Beautiful with heaps of hot water for all :-) Biddy Milligans (pub attached) was Fab, received a warm welcome, Fab Food and Live Music every night all within a few steps staggering distance from your room (but defo not noisey & discounted when staying at the hotel)! Would highly recommend The Grassmarket hotel and will be staying again on our next visit! Thank You Grassmarket ;-) xxx

The room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable and a mini fridge in the room. Has tea and coffee facilities and a variety of teas (Tetley, peppermint, camomile, and Earl grey) along with 2 sachets of good quality coffee and some UHT milk and also sugar. Also, 2 caramel wafers and a little candy cane on the pillow. We had room 316 next to the lift, which we didn't hear at all. The ensuite was very spacious and would recommend Staff were mainly helpful , and they refreshed your room daily. We didn't hear the pub next door either. They had secondary glazing, this worked perfectly Location was brilliant. A bit of a walk from the train station but easily done.

Was supposed to be in the single room but ended up being in the double room. Bed was amazingly comfortable, lots of room space, enough storage for one but maybe a little tight for two persons. TV was a very big smart tv, so good it was dangerous for a holiday where you’re supposed to go out and not stay and watch tv lol. Amazing location! Just outside Victoria street and a 5 minute walk from the Vennel viewpoint of the castle. Felt very safe (woman and alone) around the place even at night despite the area having pubs. Money was well beyond worth it.

I liked how central it was, and the comfort of the rooms. The staff were great, very helpful with either small questions about where to find something or big problems. My safe broke with my passport inside the night before I was due to leave and the receptionist tried her best to help and then the maintenance guy came in ASAP after hours so that I'd have my passport before my early departure. Other staff were extremely helpful as well, and they're a big part of why I'm giving this place a 10/10!! Thank you to everyone I interacted with!!

The location is the best tourist spot in Edinburgh. I love the old town vibes very lively place, restaurants, coffee shops and market during Saturday and close to Edinburgh Castle and to others tourist places. The room has tv, so clean, spacious and with complimentary coffee tea and water.. All staff is amazing! especially on the day of our checked in the beautiful receptionist was very helpful, I forgot her name..
